Are you tired of destroying your snow flap from backing off your trailer, or backing up into some loose snow? Well we were, so we decided to make something to stop it.
Our Snow flap saver kits bolt onto your sled using the rear bumper bolt holes, so they are quick and easy to install. They still allow your snow flap to bend outwards, they just stop it from coming into the track when going backwards. For Ski-Doo XP/XR sleds additional snow flap stiffener are required as the snow flap will still bend using just the arms. The stiffener's slip over your snow flap and require 2 small holes to be drilled into your flap on each side to secure them. The stiffener's come in an aluminum finish and actually look pretty neat on the sled, but if you want them to blend in you can spray paint them yourselves using a flat black paint, or select the powder coating options below.
I have been testing the one on my REV and it has worked great, I have backed into everything I could find and my new snow flap still looks new, and with a new flap costing $50 - $70 this kit is well worth the money.
Warning:
These might not work as well for extremely aggressive riders that do large jumps as these do hang down from the rear of your sled and there is a possibility of them catching on something if you landed rear first, but for the normal trail riders there should be no issue at all.
Kit Includes : 2 aluminum arms, 4 bolts that replace your bumper bolts (they need to be longer), the XP/XR kits add the snow flap stiffener's and required bolts.
Powder Coating: We are also offering them in a powder coated finish for those that want some color.
